Aussie Bird Count
/On Thursday the 22nd of October, a group of students - under the guidance of the very capable Mr Ramsey - completed the Aussie Bird Count.
They researched which birds would most likely be seen in the area, what they looked like, sounded like, and then roamed the school for 20 minutes to count how many birds they could find.
During their time, they spotted or heard around 20 birds, which included 5 different types. Those birds were: Australian Magpie, Noisy Miner, Musk Lorikeet, Rainbow Lorikeet and Little Raven.
Thank you so much to Mr Ramsey for his expertise, and to the Year 3 and 4 students who gave up their time to be part of the Aussie Bird Count!
