The S.R.C. is our Student Representative Council at Wheelers Hill Primary School. This group of students, along with teacher coordinators, represent student voice within the school. Their role involves actively participating in the school and broader school community by putting forward students’ views, concerns and ideas.

Students are elected into the S.R.C. by their peers to represent the wider student community. We meet weekly to discuss issues that concern students, staff and the community and aim to make our school an even better place to learn.

In previous years, S.R.C. members have

  • organised a pot plant for every classroom to improve student well-being and promote sustainability

  • suggested improvements to our school yard

  • held fundraisers for various local, state and national causes

  • contributed to global initiatives to raise awareness around climate change

  • promoted and presented awards for students displaying our school values

  • held lunchtime table tennis competitions

  • organised and participated in various games against the teaching staff

  • organised and supervised quiet lunchtime activities in the library.
