EDUCATION WEEK 21st-25th May

OPEN DAY & NIGHT: Tuesday 29th May

9:00-3:30pm and 6:00-8:00pm

Horunningoray! The sports equipment gained from our Coles voucher collection has finally arrived. We have selected an amazing assortment of free equipment; some new pieces to have fun with, and others to replace exisitng/worn out supplies. These include; indoor safety discus and shot put, foam tennis balls, joey cricket balls, kanga sacks, agility poles, soccer balls & passing arches, skipping ropes, bean bags, grip ball sets, gymnastic mats, 3-legged race straps and of course the three table tennis tables. Thank you again for all your hard work collecting and counting vouchers. We look forward to being involved in this program again during 2012.

Can you help! I still need some help in assembling the table tennis tables so that students can start using them. If you are interested/available to assist any time during school hours please contact me in the hall. Many thanks in advance - Nicole Thompson (PE teacher)

Article 1: It's not OK to be Away

When kids miss school, not only is their academic progress impeded, forcing them to catch up on missed work (which some never do), they often miss important interactions with their peers which can compound issues of social isolation and low self-esteem. Insights Its not okay to be away

Article 2: Make this year your child's best year ever

A new school year means a fresh start for students. Regardless of your child’s performance last year, they start school with a clean slate. A break offers students the chance to begin new habits and adopt new behaviours.  Insights Make this the best year ever

Article 3: When not to worry

Lately, I’m finding parents worrying about stuff (kid’s behaviour, learning, confidence levels) that they shouldn’t really be concerned about. Insights When Not To worry

Sensory Garden 3What do you think of our new Sensory Garden ?

Thanks to Bunnings and our students we now have a sensory garden.  There are hand painted tiles crafted by our students  dotted around upright garden beds.  The plants are watered via our tanks.  We are proud of our new outdoor learning space.  What do you think?    Click here if you wish to leave a comment.
