Our whole school concert “An Evening at the Museum” is rapidly approaching!  Our students have been working very hard to learn their singing and choreography.  The show is shaping up to be exciting, entertaining and memorable.  Performance details are as follows:

Venue:                        Crossway Centre Auditorium

                                    2 Vision Drive, Burwood East

                                    (enter via Springvale Rd or Highbury Rd)

Evening Show Time:                          7:00pm (sharp)

Students Required at Venue by:       6.30pm in full costume

 

TICKET INFORMATION

Wheelers Hill Primary School students who are performing do not need a ticket

Tickets for seating will be available online through Trybooking for both the evening performance and the daytime dress rehearsal performance either via the following link or the link on both the school website and Compass.

Tickets will be available from 10am on Monday 6th August.

Please note, due to the size of the venue, a maximum of 4 seats can be purchased per family for the evening performance.

EVENING PERFORMANCE

Please note that this dress rehearsal is likely to ‘stop and start’ during the show for fine tuning.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKETS FOR BOTH PERFORMANCES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH TRYBOOKING AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE SCHOOL OFFICE.

No tickets for either performance will be available at the door.

A full dress rehearsal will be held at the venue on the performance day – Wednesday 22nd August.  Buses will transfer all students to Crossway and back to school.  As in previous years, families are welcome to purchase tickets through Trybooking via the above link to attend the dress rehearsal beginning at 11:30am.  Please note that this dress rehearsal is likely to ‘stop and start’ during the show for fine tuning.

 

The evening concert is being professionally filmed for DVD and an order form for purchase will be available soon after the show.  Personal flash photography and recording is not allowed during the performances

 

Costumes – An information sheet regarding  costume requirements has been sent home via Compass.

Students will need to bring their costume to school in a named plastic bag on Thursday 16th August for a full dress rehearsal, and also on the day of the dress rehearsal at Crossway (22nd August). Students will need to arrive in full costume for the evening concert.

Students will need to bring snack, lunch and a water bottle to the dress rehersal on Wednesday 22nd August. The school canteen will not be open on this day.

*Please note: Crossway is a ‘nut-free’ venue so please keep this in mind when packing your child’s/children’s lunch and snack on the concert day. 

 

ARRIVING FOR THE EVENING PERFORMANCE

Students will be getting ready/waiting for their part of the concert in the downstairs Conference Room.  No parents are allowed in this area due to restrictions on numbers.  On arrival, students will be sent downstairs and parents can wait in the foyer area.  Please do no arrive before 6.30pm as teachers may still be preparing and setting up.
