Students created a Publisher brochure about ways to care for their bodies. They were given a template in which to work from. They were expected to write and type a sentence about caring for their body, insert appropriate clip art and use basic keyboard functions. At the completion of the brochure, students undertook the following self assessment task. They copied the stars and pasted the appropriate number of stars according to how they felt they have performed next to each statement.
Writing Self-Assessment
Each student was required to evaluate their current level of writing by completing a writing self-assessment task. The statement was read out and they coloured the corresponding number of stars.
